Denali Brehmer, 18, of Anchorage, is accused of plotting the murder of Cynthia Hoffman, 19, this month. -

this week – potentially breaking the record for June.
Temperatures are expected to reach 35 degrees or more on Monday, and climb even further until the peak on Thursday and Friday.

France has hit its highest recorded temperature - 45.1C (113.2F) - amid a heatwave in Europe that has claimed several lives.
The new record was measured in the southern town of Villevieille. The previous record was 44.1C during a heatwave in 2003 that killed thousands.

New electric vehicles will have to feature a noise-emitting device, under an EU rule coming into force on Monday.It follows concerns that low-emission cars and vans are too quiet, putting pedestrians at risk because they cannot be heard as they approach.
