I think if the funding is indeed secured as his tweet stated, that he'll get a slap on the wrist ultimately. However, if for whatever reason any talks don't come to fruition and they remain public, I think he'll catch a lot of flack and be in bigger trouble from the SEC as well as investors who will look to file class action suits.

True. And this is yet more proof that you shouldn't just barf out every thought that enters your head onto twitter.

@zachary715 the issue stems from the fact that he stated later he was in talks with some people about taking the business private and that "he would have the funding" and then later looking to find other private investors to purchase the business.
The "funding secured" bit and then back tracking is what has him in trouble.

And those priests are the people who run the religion, and who their followers go to for counsel... sick.

I think it's more horrifying that the Catholic church is still allowed to exist when they have been providing a career path (and young victims) for pedos for a couple of thousand years now. Any new allegations these days are disturbing but far from surprising.

I think it is horrifying that any cult is allowed to wield any power at all.

@jaredbusch What do you mean by this?
Take away their tax exempt status? Take away their members' right to vote? -
