Very gross technology but I see the good it could provide.
And then the darker side of me says Darwinism is losing the battle that nature built. . .

This is not news. Person was denied entry without a visa due to travel to another country.
Person could still travel to US with a visa if the choose to get one.
This law change was implemented in 2015.
