Port St. Lucie, Florida: Woman Arrested After Fight With Husband Over Flatulence, Police Say
Donald Fitzroy Meikle said his wife elbowed and punched him Dec. 11, after she told him to stop flatulating in bed, police said. Dawn Meikle was charged with battery and also suffered a broken lip.

Emanuel Lutchman, 25, was charged by criminal complaint. According to the complaint, as part of Lutchman’s attempt to provide material support to ISIL, he also planned to kill innocent civilians at a restaurant/bar in the Rochester area on New Year’s Eve in the name of the terrorist organization.

Deputy Christopher M. Heath and two others allegedly drove cross-country to deliver over $2 million worth of marijuana, officials said. Heath works on an anti-narcotics task force in California.

I live in the area which is where https://www.americanrocksalt.com/ is. Saw the headline of people trapped in the mine in NY this morning gave me a start. We have many friends that work in the local one. Glad it was just an elevator issue and not a collapse. Still not good but not immediately life threatening either.

I have a client in a Hutchinson, KS and there is a salt mine there that I went to one time with the family while doing some server work.

Canadian Dollar: Value of National Currency Hits 12-Year Low
The loonie closed down Wednesday at 71.02 cents U.S., after falling below 71 cents earlier in the trading day. It marks the lowest value the Canadian dollar has held since 2003.
Still not close to as low as it was when I was a kid. Growing up it was around 64 cents!!

I have a client in a Hutchinson, KS and there is a salt mine there that I went to one time with the family while doing some server work.
Doesn't sound quite as much fun as that secret government underground facility in Randolph, KS that the locals ended up putting I435 by the front door. You can literally see inside when the doors are open going by on the highway now. I think they've got a number of different companies running the place now, storage and a data center of some sort.
