Same here. The problem was when I was in wrestling during 7-10 grade, I had a pretty small diet due to trying to always make weight. I feel bad for my mother now because of the crap I put her through in this are. It kinda went like this:
Me: "Man, were having that again!" (think pork chops braised in peach juice. YUCK).
Mom: "You don't like it you don't have to eat it."
Me: "OK, no problem"
Mom: "You don't get nothing else either"
Me: "Ok, have to make weight" Leave dinner table and go outside or to bedroom.Next morning:
Mom - "Your dinner from last night is still waiting"
Me - "That's ok you can eat it for lunch. Still not eating that!"
Mom - "Nope, your eating that!"
Me - "Nope"
Mom - "You don't get anything else until that's gone"
Me - "Ok, it will go bad before I eat again then"
Mom - "Fine"After that incident, I didn't have to eat those type of pork chops ever again.
Longest stretch we did this for was three days and yes, I didn't eat anything but did have water and OJ. Major PITA for my mom to deal with.
Unfortunately Mom gave in. She was happy when I stopped wrestling.

I mostly consider that a different situation with some minor overlap.

Kerala plane crash: 16 dead after Air India plane breaks in two at Calicut
An Air India Express plane with 191 people on board has crashed at an airport in the southern state of Kerala, killing at least 16 people, officials say.
The Boeing 737, en route from Dubai, skidded off the runway in rain and broke in two after landing at Calicut airport, aviation officials said. The flight was repatriating Indians stranded by the coronavirus crisis. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was "pained by the plane accident". MK Raghavan, a lawmaker from Calicut, told the BBC at least 16 people died in the crash. Most people on board the Boeing 737 jet have been evacuated, with dozens of them taken to hospital with injuries, some serious, authorities said. -

Belarus election: Second night of clashes over disputed poll
Police in Belarus's capital Minsk have fired rubber bullets for a second night to quash protests following Sunday's disputed presidential elections.
Officials say one demonstrator died when an explosive device went off in his hands - the first confirmed casualty since the clashes began. Autocratic President Alexander Lukashenko won 80% of the vote. His main rival Svetlana Tikhanovskaya refused to accept the results, saying she was the real winner. A lack of scrutiny - no observers were present - has led to allegations of widespread vote-rigging in the poll. -
Stilton drives wedge between UK-Japan Brexit deal
A post-Brexit trade deal between the UK and Japan may have met an unlikely obstacle - stilton cheese.
On Friday, the two sides said they hoped to agree the details of a post-Brexit trade agreement by the end of the month. The Department for International Trade said talks are ongoing. But progress has reportedly been blown off course after International Trade Secretary Liz Truss requested better terms for British blue cheeses. The Financial Times, which first reported that talks had hit a snag, said Ms Truss may be looking for a symbolic victory, as sales of blue cheese to Japan from the UK were only £102,000 last year. -
Coronavirus in Europe: Infections surge in France, Germany and Spain
Germany has recorded its biggest daily increase in coronavirus cases in more than three months as European countries struggle to curb a surge in infections.
More than 1,200 cases were reported in Germany in the past 24 hours. Officials said the rise was due, in part, to people returning from holidays. It came as Germany warned against non-essential trips to parts of Spain. Meanwhile, France had 2,524 new cases in 24 hours, the highest daily rise since its lockdown was lifted in May. The German foreign ministry said it had added a partial travel warning to the Spanish capital Madrid and the Basque region on Tuesday amid rising infections there. Warnings were already in place for the regions of Aragon, Catalonia and Navarra. -
Trump stokes 'birther' conspiracy theory about Kamala Harris
President Donald Trump says he has "heard" Democratic candidate Kamala Harris "doesn't qualify" to serve as US vice-president, amplifying a fringe legal theory critics decry as racist.
She was born in the US to a Jamaican father and Indian mother in Oakland, California, on 20 October 1964. As such, she is eligible to serve as president or vice-president. For years, Mr Trump promoted a false "birther" theory that ex-President Barack Obama was not born in the US. Ms Harris, a California senator, was named on Tuesday as the first woman of colour to serve as running mate on a main-party US presidential ticket. She is deputy to Democratic White House candidate Joe Biden, who will challenge Mr Trump, a Republican, in November's general election. -

I think Donald Trump is actually an illegal Britain, his mother came here pregnant and just dropped him out on the side walk. Check his birth certificate! -

'Highest temperature on Earth' as Death Valley, US hits 54.4C
What could be the highest temperature ever reliably recorded on Earth - 130F (54.4C) - may have been reached in Death Valley National Park, California.
The recording is being verified by the US National Weather Service. It comes amid a heatwave on the US's west coast, where temperatures are forecast to rise further this week. The scorching conditions have led to two days of blackouts in California, after a power plant malfunctioned on Saturday. "It's an oppressive heat and it's in your face," Brandi Stewart, who works at Death Valley National Park, told the BBC. Ms Stewart has lived and worked at the national park on and off for five years. She spends a lot of her time indoors in August because it's simply too uncomfortable to be outside. -

Oculus headsets will require Facebook logins starting in October
Current Oculus accounts will work without issue until 2023.
It's a possibility Oculus owners have had in the back of their minds since Facebook acquired the company in 2014, and it's now finally happening. Oculus will soon require all of its users to log in with a Facebook account.
In October, the company will start prompting device owners to merge their Oculus and Facebook accounts. If you want to continue using your existing Oculus account, you can do so through to January 1st, 2023. At that point, your headset will still work, but Facebook warns some games and apps may not.

That's not legal. They sold the Oculus but they ban people from Facebook at random. Selling the headset but disallowing it's use is not legal.

Clearly making an attempt to prepare to skirt the law.
Valve Index for the future, I guess.
