So I discovered another issue today. I change my email attached to my account at cloud at cost. I tried to login but it kept failing which is odd considering I use LastPass. Well I entered my old email and it worked fine. Went to the settings. The username is based on your email but is hardset to the one you created it with. it does not change when you change the account e-mail.

Facebook does this as well. I have a very old email for a domain I no longer own setup for my primary Facebook account. I can't change it. Stupid...

Facebook does not do this. You didbt properly change your primary email if your login doesnt change.

Interesting. I can understand what they've done at a database level that would cause this. But it would be nice if it really changed, because they could have situations where you have an account of your own using an email that you no longer own, which means it could then belong to someone else!

I guess the email must be the Primary Key but, why?

At least there was a solution.
