With two (that I see right off) exceptions - that is the same laptop I have. I didn't opt for the SSD - Maybe down the road. but it's the Inspiron 13, 5000 Series, i5 7th gen sits here
So far I'm pretty happy. Keyboard is awesome. Works great. Took Linux without a hiccup.
Power management works well too?
The Dell Inspiron have no issues that I have found. Cannot speak to the HP he bought.

That's the cubicle area. My private office is just to the right. CEO's door is the one you can just barely see.
Man I really dislike cubicles. I worked in an open floor space (where the center was a work bench) three people in the room on phones was enough to drive someone crazy.
I am in an open area and I hate it.

I am in an open area and I hate it.
We are mostly private offices here. We have loads of unused cubes, everyone works from private spaces. Going to be fighting for the same in our new offices down south.
