Imagine the kids walking around the house playing with those! Or people just bumping into them. Over in another community they were actually fooled into posting it officially as a product announcement with a whole "this isn't an April fools" thing and everything. LOL

It if were real the button would be protected and programmable so that you selected what it was for. That it is for certain products only gives away that it can't be real. That and the whole idea is pretty dumb.

USA Today thinks it's real too. Amazon got them good. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2015/03/31/amazon-dash-ordering-button/70747342/

A nice way for your toddler to order 100000 rolls of paper towels!

Washington Post said it was real. But I thought that they were just in on it.

Google has the best one I think.....If you play Ingress this is what it looks like now:
It looks better when are not a smurf.
I like how they even made the XM go into a grid and look like pellets.

I only posted screenshot because it has a single portal in view, showing the 8 bit style pellet lineup better than the overlapping portals in your view.
A number of people in our local ENL community have discussed the skinning and hope that more options become available.

A few of our RES player's really want it to go away. I want it to stay, like the sounds that go with it as well. Nice to meet another Ingress player BTW.

It's interesting if it is. I'm wondering why they'd put company logos on it then rather than just put an amazon logo on it and you "assign" a device ID to a product.

@thecreativeone91 I think they did. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201730770
