DHCP reservations and a spreadsheet. Stuff doesn't change or add often enough to use IPAM yet.

        Spreadsheet 😛

Edit: No joke, it's got easily 20+ tabs! I'd screen cap it for you, but security 😞

Same difference but we use a Sharepoint table. It's basically a spreadsheet interface but pure web and hosted in SP and the data is in SQL Server.

Solarwinds has a nice tool for discovery.

I also use our IT wiki to keep track of DHCP reservations. They really don't change that much so it is fairly easy to build a table for it.

Table in a wiki should work well.

My network is small but I do it all via the DHCP and DNS snap-ins inside Windows Server as a rule.

I guess there is no active directory in these environments?

                        I use notepad.

I could just as easily use excel.

Though as @g.jacobse asked, what's so complex now that excel isn't working any longer?

Why? Oh, because you can look there? For us that only works for the Windows machines, not the servers in the DC.

Agreed, any solution here scales about the same as Excel.

I've used Excel Sheets with Tab(s) for each network range/subnet before. I pretty fond of Solarwinds product for this though and have liked using that better. http://www.solarwinds.com/products/freetools/ip-address-tracker/

Notepad initially then transfer it to the wiki for customer notes à la @scottalanmiller
