I have an issue where I turn off DNS on the LAN ports of my cloud DC and have it only run on the IPv6 and v4 ports of my Pertino interface. However, every time I reboot, it resets to use "All IP addresses". Is this due to some sort of sync from the other DC or something else?

Well It's basicly Multi-homed which it doesn't really like.

But first you can try setting it through dnscmd if that doesn't work you may need to set the DNS server service to delayed start to work properly.

A Software firewall would work to if you just left it listening on all addresses. My Guess Is you'll need to set the DNS server service to delayed start to work in this config though.

Service is now set to Automatic (Delayed Start). Hopefully that does it. Thanks.

Reboot it and give it a test.

Is this still a DC? is it the only DC you have? If so, how do you get away with it not pointing to itself?

Looks like the delayed start did it! Thanks!
