Spoke Too Soon.... 151 Front St. is Down
-
Yup, Canada's top datacenter facility just went offline. No idea what is happening, we've only just see the alerts fire and know that the routers in front of our gear are dark. The websites for the facility are gone, so we know the impact is complete. Nothing we can do but wait. Looks like Toronto has something major going on.

This is epically sucktastic. We have a lot of stuff in that facility. No financial impact, but it still sucks. And needed to deal with it is just a pain.
-
55 minutes, all is well now.
-
WOW, so what happened?
-
Whoa...any updates from them on what happened?? Doesn't like most of Canada's internet go out of there??
-
This keeps sounding more and more like an attack to me.. Maybe they will release details. but if that's the case I doubt they will as to not have more negative PR about it.

This is what I thought but we know these guys well and they responded quickly to us. It was a hardware maintenance window (hence the time) and they had hardware fail during an upgrade.

That caused most of Canada to loose access?

We are having clients complain of weird connection issues all over the country. Anyone else seeing anything?
