      We are a manufacturing shop and have a number of Google Nexus 7 2013 tablets in our environment, some of them mounted to forklifts so that we can better track the flow of parts through our shops. These tablets are running on wifi provided by our Unifi APs, which is solid.

      We've been using the Chrome app on Android for the tablets to access our company Sharepoint site (Sharepoint Foundation 2013) as well as our company intranet site (ASP pages). It's nothing super fancy. Our QA department uses Sharepoint for some process audit workflows.

      Things work fine for the tablets to access these sites as you would expect...for a while. Every so often a tablet will come to us with someone saying they cannot access the company intranet or the Sharepoint site. You can try to connect to either site and just have the app spin and spin. You can reboot the tablet, disconnect and reconnect to wifi, but that does not fix the problem. The only way we have found to fix the issue is to clear the cache and browsing history inside the Chrome app and then to go into the Apps and Settings area and clear both the data and the cache for the Chrome app.

      Has anyone seen this happen in your environment?

        I have this problem, but it's on PCs not on tablets. And like you, we have to clear the cache, and sometimes reset the browser to make it function.

          And part of our issue is that we are using Mobilock to lock down the tablets so users can only do what they need to do (basically web and e-mail access only). So when they hit the cache wall it becomes a work stoppage because they cannot make changes to the tablets themselves.

              Yeah, that would make sense. I almost wish there was a way to disable caching on the tablets.
