Velcro strips are so much better, been cut far too many times by badly snipped zip ties while doing cable runs...
Even if you trim them correctly you'll still probably get cut. Also the whole waste thing... you have to replace the entire cable every time instead of just loosening and reattaching a zip tie.
Yeah, no kidding. I really never use zip ties, velcro is so much better.

It looks cool (the zip ties) but is completely impractical for any real job.
Even the cable bundles that I have seen at ever job have used Zip ties, and while a good use for those cases (cause they don't break) are still a bad option.

They break more often then you think. Not only that but they cut into the cables if they get over tightened. Velcro strips don't over tighten and they don't break.

This actually made me think about my move. I currently have a half rack mounted to my living room wall but in my new place I want to have a cart with everything installed inside of it. Does anyone have a good product they would recommend?

ls -Fthe classify option? Usually these make sense like-lbeing long formatI honestly never use -F. Where it's not already set at a system level alias, I will change ls to `ls --color=auto'. Much easier to read in general I think.
Besides the --color=auto, -a, -l, and -h are really the few operators I tend to use with ls.
