        Mad ups.

        Aaaaand humans are screwed.

Sure... but we already knew that. I for one welcome our robot overlords. Sure they will do a better job then we have.

As one of the squishy meat bags designing our new overlords, I'm already all in. Right @thwr?

Probably not a good idea, but yeah, why not 😉

Down the street from my house there is a "topiary" around a mailbox that looks a lot like the poo emoji without eyes. I'll try to snap a pic one day, it's hilarious.

So, didn't get the job I interviewed for because I didn't have certs.

                  Can I downvote the company?

Haha!! They seemed like a very good company to be honest!! The whole "we are looking for specialized skills that you get with certifications" is kinda dumb if you ask me. It's that whole argument "are certifications necessary?"

So certs are more important than skills?

If they knew that they required certs, the interview was a farce just to waste your time?

If they think that TRAINING is how you learn, I think you likely dodged a bullet. I know of almost no skill that comes from training rather than learning.

That implies that they are unable to self teach, and then project that limitation onto those that they hire.

Most businesses will put it on the learner not the teacher. My last company had this one woman teaching everyone and she was the worst teacher I've ever seen. After every class she complained about how stupid everyone was and every day I'd be tempted to tell her that she's the problem.

I'm a "cash in hand" kind of guy and I won't stop being concerned until I walk in on my first day of whatever new job I land.

If anyone is curious about Huawei networking equipment, I have two different types of access points im testing tomorrow, the AD9430DN-24 Central Access Point and the AC6605-26-PWR Access Controller. I'll start a thread tomorrow.

I highly recommend not to because Huawei is compromised by the Chinese, just like Lenovo.

Is the true identity of the compromiser really more important than the fact that the gear is compromised?
