Possibly because the pre-orders outnumber the amount of available federal tax credits for the buyers. I don't care if the guy seems nervous when speaking, I'd rather he spend his time innovating and sticking it to oil and gas companies.

Pretty much this. He has never been a great formal speaker from the announcements of either Tesla or SpaceX. His one-on-one interviews are generally excellent though.

Well, in all fairness, the possibility of .... um...... shrapnel from such an explosion has always deterred me from such creative plumbing methods.
You gotta pull your legs up and get your feet on the edge of the lid man, everyone knows that. Otherwise you're in the splash zone!
