Trying to figure out where a customer 60GB mailbox is taking hostage in what folder, then I see this gem as an inbox sub folder.
I worked along side someone from an MSP that toasted someone's deleted items because it was filling up their mailbox (not sure why the task fell to him). User got in a flap and MSP had to restore the mailbox because El Cupcake (user) "Works out of the deleted items folder".

I had the head of HR at one job use the deleted items as a filing cabinet, sub folders, the works.. Mailbox corruption and fixing it she freaked we didnt restore deleted items. This from a company that the CEO said he wanted NO email backups for legal reason, we convinced him to have at least a weekly full for system corruption, etc...

Never a good sign when you pull into the parking lot to see your office spawn point being camped by an end user.

Ha! I posted my Almighty Push video a couple of days ago. Takes some time to recharge.

It looks promising that I will be leaving the IT field soon. I will find out within the next few days. Until then I have 89 switches to program.
EDIT: actually just received the call that I got the job, so I am officially out of IT.

@wirestyle22 What you going into?

Wave the ban stick at them. You're the server admin, right?

@wirestyle22 really? Better pay or benefits? Or just need a change?
-
@rojoloco Same pay, better benefits. It has nothing to do with that though. This field just isn't for me. I tired of feeling guilty for taking a job or in the worst case scenarios giving my notice and essentially wasting companies time because I cannot do the job well. I don't have any other skill sets, but janitorial services is very hard to fail at as well as excel. It's going to have to do for now.
-
@wirestyle22 fair enough. I'd probably sweep and mop for what I currently make plus better benefits too if someone offered me that.
-
@rojoloco Added benefit of no one thinking to ever talk to me outside of "good morning" and "have a nice night"
