Anyway, I'm British so won't be participating in the thread as we don't do this kind of thing. "Not bad, chap" is the closest I'd ever get to complimenting someone.

Usually you replace your thermostat with a digital version that can be tapped into via a browser portal, etc. We don't sell these in-store, and Staples is currently working to rival Amazon in the online space so it's not surprising I haven't seen these.
Our SKU system had been 6 digits since the company's founding in the 80s and they ran out of SKUs last year some time, so now it's up to 7 digits. Did you have any specific questions about them? It's designed so you can, usually from a smartphone, turn on things like your entryway lights, turn on/up the heat/AC before you get home, etc. You can also automate these things on a scheduling system. Pretty neat I think.

Yeah, I agree that it's a pretty lofty goal. However, that's who they are quoting as proof that they aren't a monopoly at this point with the recent acquisition.
