February 13th (Friday) - MangoLassi Day!
-
A wish list isn't a bad idea either. I am planning to post an announcement for our big day over on the NodeBB forums too to try to get some of their community members to stop by as well. People who run other forums on NodeBB like us.
-
Everyone at GroveSocial is super excited about this event. We are really looking forward to the boost that it will have for our little community here!
-
We are so excited to see what the community will do tomorrow. All of these new updates are awesome too.
-
Do we have a schedule for the different vendors who will be stopping by tomorrow?
-
We've posted an invite over at the NodeBB forums too.... https://community.nodebb.org/topic/3853/come-join-us-to-celebrate-one-year-of-mangolassi-on-nodebb

I have been so busy lately! @Minion-Queen told me to stop on by. I look forward to hanging out tomorrow for all the fun.

Yeah, missed the word "zones"
Why did I need it? EST and UTC convey exactly what I needed to say.

I meant to ask what time zone it was in.
Knowing the zone makes working it the time out for the non-US people much easier ;).
Also, only using US time zones makes it sound like only US people are invited.
Ā
I had a really long explanation as to why but I thought it was getting a bit heated and rude.
Here's the condensed version:
If I said "I'll call you at 10am ASWT", you'd probably have no Idea what that was in relation to you unless you Googled it.
If I said "I'll call you at 10am UTC+8", you'd probably be able to work it out in 10 seconds, providing you know what time zone you are in.
Make it easy for people to participate and less exclusive sounding.
