The smell of rain is fantastic. Especially it's been a long hot summer, the first decent rain always smells the best.

Petrichor! One of my favorite words. It's interesting to see just how it is produced. I had heard it was from bacteria, but the aerosol action is something new.

This is pretty cool... but I usually smell rain before it raining where I am... I guess I'll have to pay attention next time to how windy it is...

It reminds me when i was young and living at province.
We played and drink rain water on our way to home.( We used to walk from school going home) -
There is something magical about the smell of rain.
