I'd like to explore our SharePoint options that we get with our Office 365/Exchange Online service but not sure where to start. I admit, I never have really used SharePoint and don't really know what to do with it. I've heard we can do a lot of in house development but just don't know where to begin. Any good books out there for it?

      Thanks...

Don't even talk in house development until you are using the platform in a lot of other ways. Developing on top of it is not where you start and rarely would that make sense for an SMB. Yes, if you are an enterprise, it is a powerful web application platform. But as am SMB, use it as it exists out of the box. File sharing, calendaring, social media, some database applications, coordination, discussion platform, etc.

You can host Access on SharePoint. It's just hosting there, though, not development.
