      Was climbing the attic stairs when suddenly the bolts sheared off and it came loose.

              Whoa...that type of bolt shearing happened while on a ladder 25 feet up 14 years ago! We had 2 extension ladders, ladder jacks and 2x12 setup to paint a billboard.

                Luckily the ladder did not collapse when this happened. So nothing horrific resulted. Now we just need to replace the ladder.

                    I'm sure that it is the original with the house. Over 20 years old. But bolts should not age in that way 🙂
