Just had a job spec that went across my email today. November 24th in the evening, Orchard Park, NY (Buffalo) at $25/hr. It's just a one evening install project. If anyone is interested shot me an IM and I'll forward you the details.

        $25/hr? I take it's just physical installation?

Looks that way. They require you to bring your own drill.

Is this being sourced through NTG?

I wonder what will take 3-4 hours to physically install a router? Perhaps part of the job is taking commands over the phone for the setup? who knows.

No, nothing to do with NTG, GroveSocial, me, etc. Just a recruiter sent it to me personally via email.

I used to do a lot of this kind of work. It really does. You can't do anything in less than three hours for an on site, first visit scenario.

Given the weather in Orchard Park right now, it'll take 3-4 hours to get to the location once you're within 30 miles of it...

That's nothing to do with the install itself!

Actually given the current weather it could take you 20 hours. Parts of 90 are still shut down! With trucks and busses stranded on the thruway.

Yeah, but that didn't flow the same as using the same numbers from the title...
