Which of the 16 Are You?
-
So NTG had a discussion about this internally months ago but I figured I'd take the test again to see how I scored...
http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
I got ENFP. This is me: http://www.16personalities.com/enfp-personality
What about everyone else? Where do you land on the prism of personality types?
-
ENFP here too.
-
I am definitely an ENTJ
Variant - Assertive
Role - AnalystYou are one of the Analysts - a rational and impartial individual who enjoys intellectual pursuits and prizes independence. You are known for your strategic thinking skills, self-confidence and leadership abilities.
-
I like the in-depth look at my type, too.
ENTJs are natural-born leaders. People with this personality type embody the gifts of charisma and confidence, and project authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. But unlike their Feeling (F) counterpart, ENTJs are characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using their drive, determination and sharp minds to achieve whatever end they've set for themselves. Perhaps it is best that they make up only three percent of the population, lest they overwhelm the more timid and sensitive personality types that make up much of the rest of the world - but we have ENTJs to thank for many of the businesses and institutions we take for granted every day.

ISTJ:
PERSONALITY: ISTJ
VARIANT: ASSERTIVE
ROLE: SENTINEL
You are one of the Sentinels - a reliable and dedicated individual who respects traditions and prizes responsibility. You are known for your directness, attention to detail and quiet dedication. -
ENTP here:
-
Had my girlfriend take the test and she's ISFP, which was an interesting read. We both agreed that our descriptions summed us up nicely.
-
I got INTJ which for the most part is very true from reading about it.
-
Here's mine:
Personality: INFP
Variant: Assertive
Role: DiplomatYou are one of the Diplomats - an empathic and idealistic individual who enjoys exploring interesting ideas and prizes morality. You are known for your poetic nature, intuitive skills and pure, childlike enthusiasm.
EDIT: Apparently, I'm part of just 4% of the population...
-
I really liked the way the personality types were explained.
Made a lot of sense as to why I do things a certain way. -
My Result -
If everyone is in a "only 3% of the population" type, what type makes up the bulk of everyone else out there?
-

Here you go...
How Frequent is my Myers Briggs Type?

-
One thing that you will notice right away is that I is more common than E in the general population (by a tiny amount) but you will likely find E more common in service industry jobs like IT and definitely more common in any highly social community, like MangoLassi. So the group here is a bit self-selecting as a subset of an already slightly limiting pool. So not likely to reflect the general population.

Interesting...

I'm in a 6-8%, as is AJ. So we are pretty much average as there are sixteen types. Average meaning median, in this case.

Well, considering there are 16 types, if it was a perfect split, there would be 6.0625% of people in each group, so 8% is actually slightly above average, although I can see why ours is one of the more common groups @scottalanmiller .

INTJ, the rarest and best one
