Interesting History Buried on the Internet

So my father had told me that his father, my grandfather, had helped found a club in Rome, NY called the Roman Runners. My grandfather was an active runner when he was alive, having run in a Boston Marathon, which for those who don't know, you actually have to qualify for. Unfortunately, he ran the year it was in the mid 80s or low 90s, in April, in Boston. He was one of 11 people to pass out from the heat that day, although it was partially his fault for not staying properly hydrated.
Anyways, I Googled "roman runners rome ny" and went to their About Us page.
http://www.romanrunners.com/about.htmlTo my surprise, he was credited on the page. I just thought it was cool. I got thinking about it because of a post by @IRJ on ReelFishingTalk.
http://www.reelfishingtalk.com/topic/17/favorite-fishing-spots/4He mentioned Delta Lake, and my grandfather used to run around Delta Lake on a Sunday. It's over 30 miles around the lake. Pretty cool I thought.
Thanks,
A.J. -
