I IM'd with him today, so he's at least able to use his phone. I posted an update in that thread, but for those that want to read it here he has acute pancreatitis of unknown cause. Probably a virus causing the inflammation. He'll be in the hospital until that resolves, and they have him on a feeding tube and an IV since eating and drinking can aggravate the issue. He's on morphine for the pain, as that can be quite severe with this issue.
