USB as a Main Storage device

Here are the instructions from the Dell BIOS Download page:

@scottalanmiller It gave me a different file. I'll attempt to find the other one.

@scottalanmiller Still got a different one than you mentioned. Tried unpacking files and changing paths and a few little tricks, and nothing is working. Ideas?

What one did you get? I took the directions right off of the download page.

@scottalanmiller They only had two downloads, I did them both, twice each.

So we can't flash the BIOS at all? This is disturbing. What exactly does it do?

@scottalanmiller It just doesn't boot from the USB.

There is nothing but USB to boot from, sadly. The drive in there has nothing on it because until you boot from the USB, it's blank.

And we can't put the drive somewhere else to put something on it and then re-introduce it to the server?
