I enjoy the desktop notifications, but sometimes they can be overwhelming. They don't go away on their own. I am glad they only stack three at a time, but if I step away for a bit my computer will laugh at me and just put another set of three where I closed out of the first couple. Is there any way to modify these so that They disappear after a while?

      I am using Chrome

@FiyaFly Try logging out of the site and logging back in - there should be a pop-up asking to allow the notifications. I had to disable them all together because they were too distracting.

@Katie Well I like them, but there should be a timer on them instead of just a static window that you have to close manually

Yes. They are a bit much. Once they pop up they just stack and stack.

Yeah, i did not see any obvious setting in chrome to control the behavior so I turned it off.

We've decided to disable them. They were not popular and many people were having confusion around attempting to disable them. At this point it would appear that it would be better to just skip them.

That explains why they stopped bothering me.

Thanks - I personally didn't see the value.

I think that the idea is nice but the browsers handle them horribly. It covers up the page and stays indefinitely.

I saw a value in it for myself, but only if they could be fixed. If they are turned off, that's fine by me lol
