FreePBX Time conditions and directory
-
I've got freepbx setup and running great on my RaspberryPi. I have the main IVR setup for some things to pass through time conditions first. The problem I'm having is I also have the directory accessible from the IVR. which, I would like to pass some things from the directory through the time conditions, but the directory only allows you to put in extensions. Is is possible to assign a time condition to an extension or feature/dial code? I know they already have one but, that is just for turning on/off temporary overrides.

So you want the directory to return different results based on time of day?

I would have to log in to one of mine and build it. I do not know off hand

Kinda. I want the listing to be the same, just for it to go through conditions just like the main IVR.
EX: During business hours it will go through the conditions then meet it so it goes to the ring group. Outside of business hours it will say "We are currently closed." then to straight to the general mailbox. I want to use that for the directory listing in some places as well.

You make a time group:

Then you make a time condition

After this, all it needs to be is a choice of what you want destinations to be.
You can have two IVR, and IVR and voicemail, whatever destinations you want.

Yeah. I had that setup. and that's how it works from the IVR. But you can't chose applications (which this module is) from the Directory. You can only enter extensions. If you dial the feature code it gives you (*271) all it does is enable/disable the rules. Maybe I'll try they code still and see if it acts differently when in the directory and not dialed from a station.

Does the same thing from the directory as well just says the "Time Activated" and ends the call.

@thecreativeone91 If it is an application, then you want to setup a Misc Destination for it. Then you can point to the Misc Destination in the IVR.

@JaredBusch Perfect. Exactly what I needed. Thanks!

that @JaredBusch is not too bad of a fella.
