So I scheduled Microsoft 70-412
-
Its nice to be able to schedule the test with the company credit card
Of course that increases the pressure of passing, but hey if I pass its nothing out of pocket
-
Awesome, good luck.
-
Well done!
-
When is it scheduled for?
-
September 30th
-
Good luck IRJ!

@IRJ Get the Transcender Pack then for your MCSE portion. They offer pass the first time guarantee, will repay the cost of the voucher to you minus the cost of your prep material.

@Bill-Kindle is this what you are talking about?

I am pretty sure my employer will pay for it. I just need to ask. They let me buy practice exams for the other tests I have taken
-
I did not pass. I am really bummed out about it. This is the first time I have ever failed a cert test. I passed the first 9 Microsoft tests I have taken. What is even more painful is the fact that I failed by one question.
Now I have to pay out of pocket
-
Bummer, did the prep materials just not cover everything that the test did?

That sucks, dude

My lack of network storage knowledge screwed me. I got alot of questions asking about specific network storage technologies and which is the best type to use for this scenario type questions. I did great on NLB, Clustering, Active Directory RMS, Active Directory Sites and Services.
I did miss a few IPAM questions since I have never used it in the real world.

Yeah it does, but I only have to pay the $150 for the test. My training was paid for so I cant complain too much. Especially since I will get a raise after certifying.
The hardest part is fitting this in before my son is here. He is due in less than two weeks. I dont like the idea of being an hour and half away from Momma at this point.

Good News. My boss says they will pay for my second attempt and some practice tests
-
That's awesome, congrats! And good luck.

I am scheduled again for Saturday October 4th. I know its not alot of turn around time, but I barely missed passing and my baby could come any day so I want to get my MCSA out of the way.
