Solved Nextcloud CardDav not workign on iPhone

Does anyone use Nextcloud's CardDav as an address book on an iPhone?

I've been using it for a couple years no at one client, but after last night's upgrade to 20.0.7 (current stable) it is not working.

The URL is:
https://oc.domain.com/owncloud/remote.php/dav/addressbooks/users/USERNAMEHERE

When I add the account in settings, I get the green checks that the device authenticated.

But no contacts show up.

Hitting the URL in a browser does not work.

Does anyone know of a good CardDav test software or anything?

yes the URL is nasty old. But i'm not migrating all the devices to change URL at this point.

Nothing specifically for testing, the calendar module in Thunderbird should at least let you test connectivity though. Don't know what kind of logging options it provides but that's where I'd start

Updated Nextcloud from 20.0.7 to 20.0.8 today and the problem went away.
