NC: Download direct from Plex

This came up this weekend during a group conversation with the fellows I game with. All are in an IT profession of some sort.
Can NC connect direct to Plex and down load media? As opposed to having to download from Plex to move to NC?

Short answer, no. Unless there's a Plex client app for NC.
Long answer, you could add Plex media storage to NC and access media that way. -
Better answer is What is the purpose of this idea even?
Just browse via plex.
There is no point in having multiple copies on various NC servers.

Not enough info to know exactly what you are after.
If you are trying to have files stored in your Plex server available in NC.....
Just setup a share on the Plex server and configure it as external storage on the NC.
If you mean something else, explain a little more.

Person A has Plex, person B has permission to use. Person C want to view, it doesn’t know Person A.Instead of Persone B downloading and then uploading to a NC to share- see if could mount access and perform a direct file transfer

Does person B have a plex server, or just a plex client?

If Person B sets their Plex Download Library to a NC share, then choose offline viewing in their plex client for viewing later, the file will be saved in the Downloads library (which you placed on NC) and then Person C can grab it from there.

Person B needs to buy 12 pack for person A and ask him to give permissions to person C. It's a social problem, not a technical one.
