Yeah, first revision (the one I have on my blog) was deemed too short / didn't connect with the reader. Some feedback I got said it needed an example of what I was talking about, so I had to add more to the story (true btw, but I wanted to leave it out for a reason as to not focus on me but the message). Those edits took me a week or two to get ready and resubmitted.

They are much slower than they used to be.
There are also much more submissions too. Some are not of as high quality as others and it's taking time to go through all of them. The topic I chose had a backlog of submissions ahead of mine.
