Yes, but now that you have it in black and white, there is no way to clarify further. Nothing written down again will make any difference once he is ignoring what is already written down.

It's so blatantly stealing to have users not paying for "per user" products, there is nothing to be done after that point.

Again - if he doesn't want to pay per user - he can pay per device with VL/OEM/FPP licensing, but then it's fully on that device and that device only.

That can't possibly be accurate or cost effective. You'd potentially have to pay like with RDS cals.

It's an insanely expensive product. That your company, like every other, committed to using O365 without even casually investigating the cost of it, shows exactly why you would totally expect it to cost a fortune - because no one cares.

Can't be cost effective? what does that even mean?
Just some math for no particular reason:
ProPlus costs $799 (with SA) the last time I looked it up on VL, Assuming you use that over 3 years, that's $22.19/m for unlimited users on that device. SA renewal is like $200 every 3 years, so we have to go out to 6 years and we see that it costs $13.88/m, it's not until the second renewal that VL ends up saving you money over O365, and you don't get the benefit of 5 full sized devices of Office per user, or OD4B, etc.
No SA was like $599, assuming you use that license for 5 years before upgrading to the new version, that's $10/m for unlimited users on that device.
Office 365 with local installed office $20/m/user (Office by itself is like $12/m/user)

And this is where I am now. LOL. I really just looking to see if anyone truly knows where the license is.No, they don't have this for O365. They are confused thinking it means something it does not.
A USER license is exactly that. A license for a single user to use, on up to N devices.
However, O365 software has a "shared" install option, that is designed for multiple, already licensed, users to use on a single device. As such, each user will need to log on as themselves, and each user will need to be licensed.

Yeah I use the shared install option to setup all of our workstations today, that I'm aware of. What I know (personally) is that MS has no such option to allow multiple individuals to use 1 Office365 account. It's 1 account to multiple devices for that 1 person.
Not 1 account for multiple devices and people to share.
But again, it is so plainly obvious that this isn't in writing and that it would just be theft to share the account credentials.

And what I specifically was hoping someone had a link for was to MS's license or T&C saying that "no you can't share an account for multiple people".
Obviously this doesn't exists since the way the software is procured is per user.

It says it right here, in the name of the license, clear as day:
$x.xx PER USER
It does NOT say per device. It does NOT say per account. It says "PER USER". It doesn't matter if you have it installed on 1000 devices. What matters is that each user who uses it is licensed. It's that simple. You go by what it says, not your interpretation of what it doesn't say.

Right, they won't repeat it because they have it in writing already. But you can always show that it is 1) assigned to a named user 2) at the time of procurement you have to agree to a single human.
That's better than any T&C link.
