I'd amend your statement to be
it's actually designed for WISP market, not the MSP or enterprise market. Features like the OP's asking for would make it more enterprise ready.

There is nothing we've found yet that matches this price range. Sure it takes a more manual step for the specifically requested thing, but really how often are you making new SSIDs, especially ones that need to be universal?

Can't think of anything like that. Unifi is the absolutely best product for the SMB. I'd recommend changing processes over changing products in this case.

Right, anything designed for SMB or MSP is going to definitely not have universal SSID stuff because nothing should be universal in those settings.

Right, anything designed for SMB or MSP is going to definitely not have universal SSID stuff because nothing should be universal in those settings.

in my small business - we have three locations, and I want the SSIDs to all be the same so our devices can roam seamlessly.

You don't pay or choose different gear to not set an SSID three times. You have to set it once, no matter what. You have to tell the system to put the three in a group. You need to apply the setting to the group. There's no benefit to the grouping at that size.
It's only hundreds of sites where you want these huge groups of sites with shared settings that you get any advantage to having the mechanism. And if you have that many sites, you aren't an SMB.

This part makes sense. Needing to add a user and have it apply everywhere, that's needed for pretty much any setting.
But the same SSID and settings, that's where it gets very fringe.

I do have about 60 sites on my controller and yes you need to setup RADIUS profiles per site and so forth. SSID you would want it to be different as well.

Because paid sales people go in and give kick backs for executives to not look into the pricing situation. So they make big bank, and just pay people off to keep spending it, because it isn't their money.

Yeah i'm happy with Unifi and do what i have too to get it working
especially at the price point they come in at
