So, been back on track since April.
April 17: 109.8 kg = 242.1 lbs
June 3: 102.2 kg = 225.3 lbs7.6kg lost = 16.8 lbs lost
Not sure WTF happened to my weigh in on June 1. Did it multiple times, I can only assume the scale was correct. but that was an excessive drop. I never get happy about that. It does happen occasionally.

Sadly, my post from the top of the thread in 2014 shows I am where I was in 2014 again.

Keep up the good work. Even if you didn't drop any weight, you didn't gain anything either in 5 years (2014-2019) which itself is a success!

Down 9.3 Kg (20.46lbs) April 17th.
-
Down 17 lbs. My goal right now is 220 lbs. Started like June 4th-ish.
The first week isn't even fair, it's so misleading... I stopped drinking pop and eating like an asshole and melted off like 10 pounds.
If I get there, I'll probably set a new, lower, goal.

Yeah, if you were not eating healthy in the first place, you can drop 10 pounds in a week easy.
As I posted years ago. I was at 370+ (170KG) at my worst in 2001. The immediate change of not eating shit and dropping all sugary soda made a fuck of a difference immediately.

Set a realistic, but hard goal now.
Then set incremental goals to get there.

i was consistent with my 10lb loss for the whole month, then Mcdonald's released that new stroopwafel mcflurry and it all went downhill. Still I'm not gonna be guilty about it and i'll start with a healthy choice today.

I've been watching a lot of David Goggins videos lately. I just love his mentality and mental toughness and am trying to embrace it more in not only my health but in every aspect of my life.

I've been eating a lot more than I should while on this trip, but I've been doing some hard core hiking, too. Not a ton, but a bit.

First goal achieved, weigh in at less than 100kg.
New checkpoint unlocked, weigh in under 100kg for 2 weeks.
New goal unlocked, weigh in under 90kg.

Nice! Diet only? Diet + exercise?

It is always diet and exercise. That is how weight gain or loss works, always.
Caloric intake vs caloric use.

Rephrasing for asshat compliance...
Did you lose weight by only changing your fucking diet, or are you also going to the fucking gym or something?

Because I am trying to lose weight, and not maintain. I am restricting my caloric intake, simply by eating less. I am eating what I always eat.
Because I am trying to lose weight, and not maintain. I am being more active, typically and hour on the treadmill every day on top of my normal daily routine.

Okay, so to paraphrase you to answer my original question...:
"Hello Obsolesce! Thank you so much for asking! To answer your wonderful question, I lost the weight by both changing my diet and exercise! To be more specific on how I changed my diet, I am simply restricting my caloric intake by eating less of what I always eat. As for exercise, I am being more active in addition to hitting the treadmill every day." --paraphrased JB
