The stat sheet says it uses a cloud controller - so is it like Meraki? i.e. if you don't pay them for access to the cloud controller, it's just a rock?

Y'all are being pretty aggressive with @WrCombs today. Some of the ways that things have been communicated today in various threads I wouldn't tolerate in a professional environment, and others that just aren't terribly kind. Just my opinion. Do with it what you will.

Some of the things that ask within the past day or two have been absolutely insane we know that he is capable of substantially more and yes everybody is willing to learn at all times but somethings just don't make sense like what is specifically being asked here.

@WrCombs yes, I work with Datto equipment and they are alright. But yeah it uses a controller.

Their HQ used to be across the street from my office on a back street in Connecticut. <- Random personal anecdote.

Yes, they do now the following:
- Datto Networking Switches
- Datto Networking Wifi
- Datto Networking EDgerouters
Who did they acquire? Or did they do this all in house?

To answer the question that @WrCombs was asking. THe first step I need to know if this Access Point was purchased by your boss through a Partner or Directly (Which is rarely the case). The Datto Access Points (AP) are managed through the Cloud Portal of the MSP that usually manages them.
The AP60 is not the latest and should be on AP62 now.
