@thecreativeone91 if it does ruin IT for you, you're not cut out for it anyway
You did good, now just sit back and see what happens.

Ditto this.
Pretty much sums it up.

I was more referring to the fact that SMB/local governments like to talk so idk if I will be able to get another IT job. if they try to make up crap or something.

Luckily there are some pretty strong laws about that. Government positions especially can't say stuff about you.

correct. you did your job too well essentially. he legally can't say negative things about you if asked (pertaining to your job).

HR and the County administrator are conducting an internal investigation of my boss. He actually didn't even tell them I resigned today was the first they heard about it when they read my e-mail. I resigned on the 6th. I let them know I can't be responsible for anything that happens with the accounts I had as he never disabled them. We'll see I guess.
-
LOL.. perhaps they'll fire him and ask you to come back
-
How did he not tell HR? Were they just going to keep paying you?

@scottalanmiller I wasn't salary so I have to submit my time on Munis (our ERP/Payroll software) and submit a excel sheet that "defends the time" monthly. So I wouldn't have gotten paid.

Oh ok. Not so bad then.
