Is it just me or does Windows Updates in 8.1 work much better than Windows 7, windows 7 seems to like to corrupt/break the whole update system a lot.

I haven't had that issue with Windows 7 in a year and a half.

I cant think of an actual updating problem with a single Windows 7 PC. If there was an issue I ran into. It was a single isolated incident.

@IRJ Really They used to be pretty widespread with issues. One update would fail and then no updates after that would be able to install. Used to happen a lot when about 1-2 years ago. I don't know many people who didn't have the issue.

7 was always stable for me. 8.1 has been fine. No issues either way.

I've had little issue with stability with any MS OS since 2000. That was the last flaky one for me. NT4, XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1 have all been solid. Windows 8.1 does seem exceptionally solid, though.
