Has anybody heard of this company? A customer of mine is looking to track their vehicles via GPS, but it's a huge red flag for me that their login page isn't using https.

Uhm, no. Full stop. Don't care how amazing the gizmo that goes on the car is, they don't understand security. Going to https://www.shadowtrackerlive.com/ does throw a security error. LetEnCrypt has been available on all web server platforms for years at this point, no reason not to have a valid cert.

Definitely a good reason to not use them.
Though - if you don't tell them that they lost you as a possible customer - they will likely never fix their shit.

A friend of mine uses a similar platform for tracking and it uses plain http as well. Can't remember the name though.
