What are folks using to recover a deleted/corrupted partition these days.
I haven't had to do this in a number of years, at that time 'test disk' was my go to utility.

        Is it NTFS?

I think this is the one I've used in the past...

            https://www.ntfsrecovery.com/

The free version will scan the disk and tell you what files it can find.

@pattonb GetDataBack by Run Time Software. Used it recently to recover data from an Apple MacBook Air SSD.

The last recovery was via easeUS recovery software where GDB failed for some reason to find the deleted checkpoint file (.AVHDX).

Yeah I've used GetDataBack several times with different levels of recovery.
