6 hours of curriculum = 10k-20k more a year by having this Certification?
That sounds F-ing great. -
A co-worker talked to me about getting the CCP cert , and when he told me the training was free and it was only $100. It seems like a no brainer. Especially considering it is pretty basic information. 4.5 hours training.
Alot of jobs are requiring or saying highly desired for AWS certs.

That sounds F-ing great.Even more if you specialize. I have easily seen a $20k difference between on prem and cloud security roles. Devops and automation is another one.
I have also seen it with system admin positions. They make it highly desirable because the company (like most out there) are transitioning to cloud. So even their windows or linux admins need to know basic AWS or Azure stuff.
