      Shinobi Open Source NVR/DVR software

I found this yesterday.... just wondering if anyone has tried it.

I glanced at the docs and didn't see support for H.265. Everything else looks ok.

Next time I get an extra box, I might spin it up. Too busy right now.

Digging a bit further into the docs, it seems that it does support H.265.

          Pretty huge price difference here.

Not a horrible price if you plan to use it 3+ years commercially.

              Not for commercial use though.

Of course for commercial use. It is open source and specifically GPL3. That guarantees all use cases are always free. No matter what.

Where did you get the idea that it wasn't? The site is pretty clear.

Shinobi is really clear that it is totally free.

Shinobi CE is free to use for any purpose. It has to be by license.
                    Shinobi Pro is not.
