Unsolved Audio book player
-
My Mother in Law is looking for a way to listen to audio books while travelling. We had and tried a few of the old phones we have but sadly - even the newest old phone isn't new enough to install the player (Audible).
Is there anything else I could use to play Audible books -mainly for someone to travels? I happened to think maybe the Raspberry Pi Zero, as it has wifi and bluetooth, it could be paired with the car, and played via the car's sound system.
Anything thoughts?

Just use the device built for that, the Kindle.

I know you love Raspberry Pis, but they are always the most complicated solution. Nothing wrong with that, but this is a cheap and easy thing for something really nice.

Does the Kindle have BT? I know the three I have don't, and she doesn't have any other means to connect any type of audio device. Radio, CD, BT - all she has in the car.

yes, there are times and places for soemthing as 'serious' as the rPi... and maybe this isn't one of them. But I have one here, doing nothing,.. and thought maybe.
At least I'm not tring to do this in Windows...
