            That's often how those services survive problems. No one ever takes backups (I've been caught on that myself so....)

              It is likely that the last backup is still valid, except for some used equipment information.

                    Their server was reported back on line on the 28th.

                    Ah, i wasn't patient enough.. we have an app error on the restored server..

                          The only other option in windows hosting is azure.

                          So not sure yet. Will depend on what the financial response is from A2

                            It's been a number of years now, but https://viviotech.net/windows-vps-hosting.html did a good job when I was supporting companies on their Windows platform.
