They have an open suggestion for this capability.

Yeah, I saw that too. Was hoping there was more info.
These things, assuming they "just work", should be pretty nice for a non-tech person. Looks cool too, so bonus points!

A single SIP phone works just fine behind these. Like with most everything designed for home.
I have a bunch of pictures on here somewhere from when I setup my mom's AmpliFI.
Apparently it was not my thread, because nothing else is tagged amplifi.
These are great units for the home.

Yeah. He might eventually add a second phone if his home business grows. So we will cross that bridge later.
Do you manage your mom's through unifi or anything? Or did you just configure and drop it in place?

He has a home business and is putting in consumer networking? I'm not likely to advise consumer gear even when it's truly a consumer situation. But for a business situation, never. You want an ER-X minimum here, and ERL more likely. Right tool for the job.

Agree 100%. I should have clarified. He is 99% of the time, using his cell phone, with no current plan to use the SIP phone. Just wants something quick and easy for his family.
I had another person (business owner) ask me the same question about a simple, all in 1 solution for router/WIFI. It must work with VoIP as well.
Any business grade solutions that are physically all in 1? None that I currently recommend.

Part of the problem here is...
- Business = not dictating the solution but the goal. Let IT find the solution that meets the goal.
- Business = not all in one. All in one is a consumer thinking way of viewing tech.

Could not agree more. Some people are just too cheap for their own good. If you can't spend a couple hundred bucks to setup a proper network foundation for your business, then you have no business, having said business.

Not that it is any of my business

I was going to add a #business, but thought it might be a bit much.

ER-X and Unifi AC Lite > $150 plus install.

AmpliFi is managed through an app.
I gave myself remote access via said app with a google account.
In fact, I believe I bitched about that requirement in the thread I posted pictures in.

Well my google-fu failed me, I try searching for
"jaredbusch" "AmpliFi" "mom" site:mangolassi.it
in hopes to find those screenshots. -

I’m wondering what this search string would yield...
"jaredbusch" "FFS” site:mangolassi.it

I had to try it. On Google, there is 10 plus pages of results.

@black3dynamite
Hahaha. Amazing. I knew it. -
Pictures on my phone are dated Dec 6, 2018. Did a more advanced search here and no luck.
