Anyone using PDQ Deploy? I like using it for the simple new machine deployment of certain programs.

Although for some reason I am getting a 1603 error when deploying Adobe DC but nothing else is displayed in the log 😞

I like it, but use it infrequently.

We use it quite a lot in large environments. I am assuming it is an msi file correct?

It is the one that PDQ Deploy provides through their packages. MSU

                $(Repository)\Adobe\Reader\DC\Continuous\AcroRdrDC1500720033_MUI.exe

                /msi EULA_ACCEPT=YES /qn

That is the install file and parameters

I quit using PDQ with any regularity when I found chocolatey.

I use it to deploy Adobe and tons of other packages. I have created nested packages to install all the new drivers and software (even BIOS updates) for newly-imaged computers.

I used the deployment section on the Adobe site to download the installer, which hasn't been updated in quite some time.

In PDQ deploy, I have the following settings:
                      0_1530902608317_268e8bf2-5e83-49a7-98df-fd053ea42af3-image.png

Afterward, I have a bat file that runs ninite pro to force an update on Adobe.

This is where I got the info on deploying it.

There is a PDQ Deploy package that will run the update, although I haven't tested it yet 🙂

Same, but I only used it at the last job, now I just use a chocolate ps script that does all of it.
