I have ran Android on VMWare and Virtual box before without any issue once I disable mouse integration. However, on KVM I cannot seem to find out how to do that. Without disabling mouse integration, Android is unusable as the mouse doesn't work . I have tried running both RemixOS and the Official Android from Google. Both have the same exact issue with the mouse. The VM boots fine and the mouse "works" but is impossible to steer or control.
Add USB tablet mouse or PS2 mouse in virt manager.
How do i do this?

Add Hardware -> Input... (this is taken from an XP VM).

I may have to scrap KVM for VMware if I cannot get android working. Nothing I try will work.
-
Which OS type and version did you select when creating the VM?
If you haven't done this yet, you can try using Generic has an OS type and version? -
I'll give it a shot when I get to work see if I can figure anything out.
-
Where did you get your image? Just so I can use the same.

I prefer Remix OS over x86, but I would be happy to use either...

Ok I'll give it a shot.

Yeah I see how that's annoying. One thing to try is adding a tablet device through "Add Hardware"
-
Looks like it's an issue with fully emulated systems.

That didn't work for me
-
It did let me have somewhat better control and let me drag the cursor around, but still not accurate enough to use for any period of time.

Ok if I get time this afternoon I'll take another stab at it.
