I would've been large pizza deep within the hour, it's my kryptonite.
Lol I have gotten away from pizza, but then again, I live in Texas. You have no idea how hard it is to find a good pizza in Texas. I did find one place run by NYers. Real Italians. Just like the local pizza shops up in NY where I'm from. Only decent place I've found so far. The rest are crap.
Luckily I live in Houston; although there's no REAL NY-Style if you venture out a bit there's some amazing pizza in the neartown/montrose area.
Edit: if you're near Downtown try Luna's or Star over on richmond; cheap and delish!
I'm on the north edge of FAR North Dallas. Nowhere near downtown...lol
Far north AND Dallas... you're more of a man than me!
?? What do you mean? I'm confused by this Texas talk...

Hahaha I mean I've never been a fan of places in Texas other than Austin/Houston. There IS a lot of IT there though!

I've been told Irving is kind of the IT hotspot in the DFW area.
-
@ajstringham Really?
Took a look at the fiber maps, who would've thought that most of the providers have fiber through Irving down Rock Island Rd. Bet that is CHEAP real estate.

You are near the train though.
There is a decent NYC style place across from the Denny's near you.

On Frankford? That's the only Denny's I know of in the area. They are like a bad rash in NY. Everywhere you look, there one is. LOL
-
@ajstringham yes that one. Across the street in the same plaza as the Pho place and the yoghurt place.
-
Not saying it is great. But it is okay. Very good for Dallas.

So what you're saying is that, among a bunch of EXTEMELY sucky pizza places, it sucks a lot less?
-
@ajstringham exactly. In a world devoid of good pizza, it is a bit less devoid.

Good to know. LOL

This conversation made me have to have pizza at work since I was working late and they catered.

Cowboy burger with smokey mayo instead of the BBQ sauce. You can thank me later.

I'll thank you now; I never liked their BBQ sauce so i think that might actually be enough to turn that frown upside down. (Technically speaking.)

Get onion rings with more smokey mayo for dipping to replace the crappy fries Applebee's has. Their onion rings rock! Their fries...not so much.
