Any decent GUIs for managing Windows Shares...

So how does everyone manage their shares? With symbolic links?
From the client side or the server side?
-
We use shares rarely. But back when we did, CNAMEs for the servers, and then direct access to the shares after that point. Rarely would we use symbolic links, but you could. But often if you were going to go that far, you'd want mapped drives. So the SL niche isn't all that big, IMHO.

I only use symbolic links in Windows for cheating crashplan.

DFS Manager and Computer Manager. Those are really the best GUI tools built in for share management.

Looking for a GUI to manage access to windows shares on Fedora.
Not sure I want to use a GUI for that, but have you tried the
system-config-samba

Hmm, I must have seen another post by IRJ in here thinking it was the original post. Didn't see the Fedora part. Unless the OP was heavily edited or I just looked at the wrong topic... It looks nothing like the one I thought I was replying to.
