Microsoft license tracking for multinational corporations?

Hey guys!
Multinational corporations that have 10 thousand or more computers running Windows, how do they keep track of all their MS licenses? I assume it can't be a manual process.

They don't keep track at all. They have an EA
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Licensing/licensing-programs/enterprise.aspxLooks like the magic number is 250+ now. Used to be 500 per this same page.

Jared is correct, EA for companies of any serious size. I've heard @StorageNinja say 300+ users which I think sounds low. But at least it's a ballpark. But by 250 you can definitely consider it. It makes licensing way easier and generally way cheaper.

Quick question if we have several agreements and license see can they all be brought into one single account?

With EA you can do anything you want, because it's a custom agreement that you sit down with Microsoft and talk about. It's flexible because you "come to an agreement", rather than buying pre-listed line items from a reseller.

That's more in line with the size that I always thought that it was. 300 seemed super low.
